Blokeilates Essentials

Blokeilates Essentials is an 8-week online course to give you the ‘essentials’ of Pilates. Follow our online program for 20-30 minutes a day, 5 days a week  to become stronger, more flexible and in control of your body.

Don’t tell yourself it’s “normal” to not be able to do the things you used to do when you were younger.

I’ve put my years of experience treating and training blokes like you to develop this course so that men can get control back over their own bodies. The Blokeilates Essentials 8 week course costs the same as 1 initial pilates consultation.

Course Structure

Blokeilates has been designed to get men moving in a way that progresses them through pilates-based exercises

Weeks 1-2

Build your base

During weeks 1 and 2 you will learn the foundations of Blokeilates and assess your current capabilities. This is when you will get back on the right track to regain flexibility and start building your core strength.                                                                                                                          

Weeks 3-6

Make your gains

The middle weeks of the course will see you growing your capabilities as you perform the exercises better, challenging yourself to perform more difficult movements to start to see your body move with greater efficacy.                                                                                                     

Weeks 7-8 and beyond

Reach your potential

In weeks 7 and 8 you will see movements progress to whole body strength and you will begin to see results that translate into your day to day life and movement. Whilst the program itself runs for 8 weeks, you have the opportunity to revisit any part of the program to continue with a whole 12 months access.

What equipment is required?

None! All you will need is a space where you can comfortably stretch out. A towel or pillow might also come in handy for some of the movements but other than that you are right to go.

How long do the workouts take?

The workouts go for between 20 and 30 minutes. You may want to spend a bit more time on a certain exercise but that’s up to you .

Am I too old/ fat/ weak/ inexperienced / immobile?

Probably not. The Blokeilates essentials program is easily adaptable for many ages and abilities. This program starts with the basics and progresses over the course of the 8 weeks. Every exercise is broken down, clearly explained and demonstrated at every stage. 

I have an injury. Can I still do Blokeilates?

It depends. Blokeilates is great for injury management and prevention. However, we recommend that you seek individual medical advice if you have an injury or particular needs to find out if Blokeilates is right for you.

 Can I combine Blokeilates with my current training?

Absolutely! Many blokes who do Blokeilates also train regularly elsewhere. Blokeilates can be a great adjunct and compliment to your current training.

I’m a woman. Can I do Blokeilates too?

Of course. At its core, Blokeilates is a progressive pilates mat-work program. Whilst its designed to make pilates more accessible to men, there is no reason why females couldn’t get on board too.
